Here is another pretty little tree just in time for Christmas. You can easily stitch it in a weekend. It is made to be stitched on 18 count mono canvas with a thread count of 61 x 79. The design lends itself to all different colour ways. Follow mine or create your own from your stash. Ideal for a small gift. The finished size is 3.25" x 4.25".

Worked on 18 count mono canvas with a stitch count of 164 x 161 threads.
Imagine if you were to take all of the chains you have in your jewel box and dumped them out onto the table. That was the basic thought behind Chaynz. Then came the question, “how many ways can you stitch a chain?”
There are two colourways - gorgeous reds or beautiful metallics.

110. Ring the Bells ~ $8.00 CAD
Three years ago I designed "O Christmas Tree". It has since become my best seller. I thought it should have a companion piece so here is "Ring the Bells"
This little project can easily be stitched in a weekend. It has a stitch count of 62 x 92 on 18 count mono canvas with a finished size of 3.5" x 5".
It will fit into an off the shelf frame, or you could make it into a Christmas card, a gift bag or a wall hanging. The possibilities are endless.

109. Passionate about Purple ~ $13.00 CAD
Purple is one of my favourite colours. For this piece I paired it with teal and the effect is stunning. Worked on 18 count mono canvas it has a thread count of 149 x 149 making the diamond 8.25 inches from point to point. It uses just four main threads and two colours of beads with floss to attach them.

108. Pastel Pretties ~ $12.00 CAD
This chart has three pretty little projects for you to stitch. Worked on 18 count mono canvas, each one has a thread count of 72 x 54 making a finished size of 3" x 4". I worked all three in different pastel shades. They are lovely little gifts for a friend.

106. Moroccan Sunset ~ $10.00 CAD
This pattern told me it wanted to be a cushion, but it would make a great bag or wall art. Worked on 18 count mono canvas it has a thread count of 184 x 184 which makes it about 10" square. I used brilliant happy colours with simple Bargello stitches for a stunning finish.

Worked on 18 count mono canvas with a stitch count of 124 x 124 threads It uses four stunning blues with copper accents
I made mine into a bag as shown, but it will make a great cushion cover, a box top or framed wall art.
The whole project is 7” square, or you can stop the stitching at any point and make a smaller version.


103. Just Plain Fun 2 with Pale Lilac ~ $9.00 CAD
This is the second chart in a series called Just Plain Fun. They are small designs suitable for beginners to canvas work.
Worked on 18 count mono canvas it has a stitch count of 84 x 84 threads or about 4¾” square.

102. Beaucoup de Diamants ~ $10.00 CAD
I finished this classy piece as a little square tray. The instructions for that are included in your chart as well as instructions for the scissor fob. You could also make it into a bag or cushion top, a framed piece or box top.
Worked on 18 count mono canvas it has a stitch count of 110 x 110 making it about 6 inches square.


98. Just Plain Fun – with Sahara Sunrise ~ $9.00 CAD
Just Plain Fun with Sahara Sunrise is the first in a series of small simple charts that you can stitch in a weekend. They will all use one overdyed thread and three or four Pearl cottons and fairly simple stitches.
This one is worked on 18 count mono canvas and has a stitch count of 79 x79.

100. Celebrating Stitches ~ $20.00 CAD
Celebrate with me as I present my 100th published design! This project is stitched on 18 count mono canvas and has a stitch count of 209 x 209. That makes it about 11 ¾ inches from side to side.
I chose luscious reds and pinks with shiny copper. You could choose my colours or your own favourites. It is up to you.

99. Subtlety in Blue ~ $14.00 CAD
As I was designing The Banquet, mystery sampler I had to keep forcing myself not to use too much of the DMC 4020 mixed with blue. I loved it so much. This is my answer to that…. A whole piece using those colours.
Stitched on 18 count mono canvas, it has a stitch count of 109 x 109 making it about 6 inches or 15cm. square.
It will fit beautifully into an 8” x 8” off the shelf frame, or into a box top. You could also build it into one side of a tote bag.

96. Heartbeats ~ $13.00 CAD
A whole heart full of hearts to stitch for your Valentine. This project is worked on 24 count Congress cloth with lots of beads and glitter. It even has a tassle.
The stitch count is 133 x 129 and the finished size is approximately 5½ inches square.

Tidbits will be a series of nine little squares with stitch counts of 71 x 71 worked on 18 count mono canvas.
This chart shows the first three. There will be two more charts in the series, each with three little projects.
My vision is to stitch all nine of them together to make a cushion. I have chosen to use the blue colour-way, but have shown one piece in sunny yellow colours.
Each fun little square can be stitched alone as a gift for a special friend.


92. Rainbow Stitches ~ $15.00 CAD
I made this little bag before a trip to Europe. It was just big enough to hold my phone, my passport and a change purse.
The chart includes two different sized graphs so you can make it to fit your phone, and instructions for lining and finishing your purse.
The stitch count for the original purse is 120 x 196, making it approximately 5" x 7". It uses 15 DMC perle cottons.

90. Canada Strong and Free ~ $14.00 CAD
This piece means a lot to me. I am so very proud to be a Canadian!
The four maple leaves signify Canada's growth over the last 150 years.
All the different colours celebrate the diversity of her peoples and her landscapes.
You can stitch it with or without the wording.
I stitched it on 18 count mono canvas. The stitch count is 172 x 148.

85. Blue Doodles ~ $18.00 CAD
I designed Blue Doodles to be open and airy to showcase the lovely overdyed canvas. It has lots of interesting stitches worked in shades of smoky blue. I hope you enjoy stitching it as much as I did.
The stitch count is 181 x 181 on 18 count mono canvas in Vintage French Blue.

Just big enough to carry a pocket book, your reader or a mini tablet. This stunning bag is stitched on 18 count canvas using just 6 different DMC Perle cottons. The stitch count is 136 x 315 which of course is folded in half.
76. Forever Diamonds ~ $12.00 CAD
Stitched on 18 count canvas, this pretty project has three different interconnecting diamond designs. It is fun to stitch and will grace your wall beautifully. The stitch count is 119 x 195 giving it a finished size of approximately 6.75” x 10.75”.

47. Marvellous Mauves ~ $12.00 CAD
There are so many wonderful shades of mauve! Stitched on 18 count mono canvas, this project tries to include a lot of them in random shapes and stitches. I used eleven different threads. The stitch count is 97 x 97. The finished size is 5.4" square.

45. Have a Heart ~ $12.00 CAD
Stitched on 18 count white mono canvas, this piece has lots of hearts, glitter and beads. It uses seven different threads to stitch the crescent stitches, rhodes stitches, smyrnas, fan stitches and back stitches. The stitch count is 123 x 123 and the finished piece is just under seven inches square.

39. Rhapsody on Red ~ $9.00 CAD
This is a really pretty little piece. Stitched on 18 count mono canvas in Victorian Red using # 5 Perle cotton in white and Kreinik #12 braid in gold, with gold beads. The finished size is just less than 5" square with a stitch count of 87 x 87.

An absolutely stunning project stitched on black 18 count mono canvas. It uses all metallic threads with beads and crystals. If you are unsure about Jessica stitches, you'll be a pro by the time you are finished. The stitch count is 58 x 272 with a finished size of 3.375" x 16.25".

A starry night, snow covered trees and sparkly snow.. my wish for the world. It uses just five different threads. This would make a lovely Christmas card. Stitch count 92 x 60. Stitched on 18 count mono canvas the finished size is 5.25" x 3.5".

Stitched on 24 count congress cloth, this is the last in the four piece series. Again it has a stitch count of 150 x 99. You will use 6 different threads, four DMC perle cottons and two from Rainbow Gallery. When finished, it will fit in a 5"x 7" frame.

The colours are very soft, delicate mauves on eggshell coloured congress cloth. It has four squares that are all similar, but different. Stitch count: 124 x124. The finished size is just over 5" x 5".

32. Golden Ivory ~ $12.00 CAD
I must say that the picture really doesn't do this piece justice. Worked on congress cloth, it uses six different threads and one type of bead. Stitch count: 99 x 99. Finished size is 4.25" x 4.25" It will fit into a 5" x 5" off the shelf frame.

This piece was designed to stretch your comfort zone, and use a lot of threads that are in your stash, different weights and textures. Work in a monochromatic colour scheme or multi-coloured. My most popular design. Stitched on congress cloth using one overdyed thread, four perle cottons and four floss. The stitches are all different ways of working a Rhodes stitch. Stitch count: 140 x 140. Finished size aprox. 6" x6" This will fit nicely in an 8" x 8" off the shelf frame.

44. Diamonds and Lace ~ $9.00 CAD
This is a very pretty, quick to stitch project worked on Antique Blue 18 count mono canvas. It uses three different threads and a little bit of floss for attaching the beads. The stitch count is 140 x 141 with a finished size of just under 8" x 8".

48. Jessica and Friends ~ $13.00 CAD
I love big bulky stitches! This is a project that showcases some of them. You'll meet Jessica and her friends Crescent, Rhodes, Walneto, Amadeus and Madame Triangle, a stitch I use often but have never found the name for. Stitching on 18 count Eggshell mono canvas, you will use just five black and copper threads and beads. The results are stunning. The stitch count is 151 x 103.

Here we have a box full of little boxes with different borders and different contents. This project is stitched on 18 count mono canvas with an assortment of soft pastel threads. The stitch count is 100 x 100.
53. Deja Vu ~ $13.00 CAD
Stitched on 18 count mono canvas. My goal was to re-make Variations on a Rhodes Theme with no bare canvas ... hence the name. The same elements are there but they are all different. It uses five different threads and some beads in soft peaches and grey. I think it is lovely -- I hope you do too. The stitch count is 125 x 125.

58. Colour Me Softly ~ $13.00 CAD
Soft soft greens and mauves. I found the two Watercolours, Hint of Mint and Fir, and simply had to put them together. It is stitched on 18 count mono canvas in Santa Fe Sage using eight different threads and some beads. With a 6x8 mat, it will fit nicely in an 8x10" frame. The stitch count is 91 x 119.

59. Let's Trim the Tree ~ $14.00 CAD
This is a series of three Christmas ornaments. Two of them are three dimensional, an the last one is two sided. I have used metallic threads and lots of beads to make your tree glitter. They would be great for those little gifts we give at Christmas. The stitch counts are 112x74, 75x56, and 56x56 respectively. They are stitched on 18 count mono canvas.

61. Persian Fantasy ~ $14.00 CAD
This piece was designed to fit in the beautiful dowry box made for Jeanette Douglas' "My Stitching Treasures". Stitched on 18 count mono canvas it has a stitch count of 190x136. The blue, rust and gold colours make it really rich. I loved it from the very first few stitches!

63. Teal-licious ~ $15.00 CAD
This is the largest piece I have yet attempted. It is worked on 18 count canvas with a stitch count of 208 x 207 approximately 12" x 12". I used all different shades of teal on a white, white background (B5200). I hope you love it as much as I do.

I stitched this piece on 18 count canvas in Victorian Green using soft, soft colours for the threads. The stitch count is 99 x 99 which makes it about 5 inches square.

This is the companion piece to Rose on Rose. Again the stitch count of 127 x 127on 18 count canvas.
73. Rose on Rose ~ $12.00 CAD
I found two pretty rose coloured frames in a thrift store and planned to create something in rose to put in them. When I went to the needlework shop to find the right threads, there was a wonderful new hand-dyed canvas in exactly the same shade as the frames. Serendipity! I wanted to create something open, without borders to better showcase the fabric. I hope you like them. They each have a stitch count of 127 x 127 stitched on 18 count mono canvas.

Another weekend project. This could be a companion piece to "Fancy That". It also has a stitch count of 77 x 77 and is stitched on 18 count mono canvas.

Stitched on 18 count white mono canvas, this pretty little project can be stitched in a weekend if you want. It has a stitch count of 77 x 77 and uses just two perle cottons, one Kreinik braid and beads. At just less than four and a half inches square it fits nicely in a 5" x 5" frame or box.

Another little Christmas tree to delight you. All the candles are sparkling with Christmas cheer. It has a stitch count of 63 x 90 on 18 count mono canvas with a finished size of 3.5" x 5".
It will fit into an off the shelf frame, or you could make it into a Christmas card, or a wall hanging. I finished this one as a door hanger just to be different. The possibilities are endless.

When I found these threads, I just had to design something to use them to their best advantage. I love the brilliance of these threads and enjoyed every minute of the stitching.
The thread count is 109 x 109 or about 6" (15cm) square. There are lots of lovely stitches to try. My favourite is the Walneto stitch. I wonder what yours will be.
