Mystery SAL Blog
I can't believe it has been two months since I added a blog post! Thank goodness there have been no more errors. You have all been busy stitching though and here are some more pictures to share. In the order they are shown, they come from Jane, Marnie, Lisa, Pat and Susan. The picture on the outside of the blog is from JoAnn. Thank you ladies for sending them. I love to see your progress.
To say that that I am horrified by the number of errors that I have made with these charts is putting it mildly and you all have my abject apologies. I have taken steps to put an end to them. I hope! This error stems from extra stitches that I have in the diagram for 3D. If you stitch it as I have graphed it, then it doesn't work where it meets 3F.If you have already stitched 3D, then use the attached diagram for 3F. If you haven't already stitched 3D, use the attached diagram for 3D and the original...
The diagram on page 5 of Part 3 is missing a stitch. Here is the corrected version.
There is a slight error in the diagram for the large Spratts head on page 4. Here is the corrected diagram.
Thanks to Betty at Stitching Corner in Cochrane I have found out that Kreinik is no longer making #8 Braid 086C. So if you are waiting for that particular thread, I have chosen 025 as a substitute. Of course colour choices are always up to you. For those of you who started your project in landscape mode, I have the chart re-worked just for you. All of the subsequent charts will have a section called "Alternate Directions". This is the part you will follow.
